Cool’in in Cali

March 21 – 28, 2009
We recently got back from a week vacation to Southern California! Ohhh – how I miss the sun and liquor being sold in grocery stores. Ok ok and my family too!
I spent a couple days in OC with my parents and grandfather. Then went down to San Diego for a couple days. We made the visit out to Cali because Dave had a work trip to Scripps. So Dave traveled separate from Bennett and I, but we returned together.
I mainly went to relax and spend time with my family. I finally met Cammie and Tony’s baby Conner. The babe is super cute and well behaved. Claudine and I did some kid craft projects and we went to Legoland. Legoland was surprisingly fun and Liam and Owen have grown up a lot since last summer. I can finally understand what Owen is saying! They boys really had a fun time with Bennett now that he’s walking.
I had one afternoon with my girlfriend Ali and also saw Kristen and Steve for a short period of time over some Margaritas.
Everyone seems to be doing well without us. The trip was short and sweet. Thanks for the quality time Mom and Family!!!
(Due to how busy we’ve been lately, the blog has been in the back burner and I’m way behind in updating it.)

How did Bennett take to the California lifestyle? Now that he can walk, are you teaching him to surf?
