The Blizzard of 2010
Dave and I decided we love snow and we need to move more north. Strange since I’ve lived more than half my life by the ocean.
We have successfully entertained ourselves hanging out with our neighbors: Poker night, Beatles Rock Band, sledding, Xcountry skiing, preparing the house for the baby to come (maybe next week??), [...]

Busy as a Bee
What the heck have we been up to!! OK this blog isn’t easy to update since it requires uploading images and using my brain. I’ll give a shot until Bennett wakes up from his nap.
We have had several weekends of visitors since March. Jeff and Erica were in town for work reasons. We tried [...]

We have a walker!
On March 1st I marked the calendar that Bennett took his first steps (as in 4 or 5). But today, he crossed the circle in our toddler Funfit class to get to our friends Danielle and Joana. I was happy with that. But afterwards when we went to Starbucks, his momentum really picked up. He [...]

DC for the Inauguration of Obama
We went downtown today to meet up with some Norwegian friends in town. (Goodman and Charlotte) Can you say – it’s crazy out! There is a buzz in the air and events going on all around the city. Everyone we encountered was super excited and friendly. There were so many people selling crap/memorabilia it [...]

Ana visits Olso for our last weekend in town.
June 13-15, 2008
Ana Sirovic came to Oslo. She had a conference in Bergen to go to. So she made a vacation out of it! Lucky her. For Ana’s 1st day in Olso, we walked up Karl Johans Gate and went to all the main sights. Some sights were Aker Brygge (water front), the Akerhus Festning [...]

Saying Goodbye
June 10, 2008
It’s going to be hard to leave all our good friends! Our bags are almost all packed for the movers on Thursday. We are trying our best to see all our friends before we go. It’s busy and time is running out. We are in a bit of shock. This photo is from [...]

Farfar came for a visit!

Farfar (norwegian for grandfather or literally father father) swung into town this past weekend thanks to work obligations. He got here Saturday night and gave a talk on Monday. We basically had one full day when pieced together. We had a great dinner Saturday night at his hotel and Sunday we went [...]

March 1 – 2, 2008
Dave had a joint birthday party with his friend Jan Hendrik back in January. They both received a telemark ski lesson, rental and lift ticket package from their friends. They’ve both wanted to learn how to telemark for a while, so they were both excited about the package. This past weekend [...]
